Cbr 400 nc29
Here for sale is a beautiful example of a future classic Cbr 400 nc29 baby blade. It's has been rebuilt from the frame up over the winter and has had allot of time and money spent on it.
The bike was originally from Japan but was imported to the uk in the early 2000's. I'm the 4th owner of it in this country I'm not sure of the history of it back in Japan.
What I know about it in this country though is as followed.... First owner was a women who owned it from around 5-6 years, it was then brought by a bloke who had it for another 3 years. When he sold it his brother brought the bike off him and it was ridden for a couple of months then it sat in a shed for about 2-3 years untouched until I brought it late last year. It was a non runner and all the brakes were stuck on. Both forks legs leaking oil slightly. It's has covered just over 25,000kms.
Right onto the good bits the New parts! They are as followed:
-Racing fork set up from GF racing (Stiffer springs, genuine seals and higher grade oil)
-Nitro rear sports shock with adjustable pre-load, ride hight and 24 click rebound adjustment
-All the callipers have been stripped down resprayed and had new seals and Pistons
- braided brake hoses
-Brembo ceramic pads both front and rear
-Custom make pre-load adjusters for the front forks
-Racing rear sets
- Medium compound grips (Grey)
-R&G crash bobbin bar ends
-Shorty leavers (Grey with 6 click red adjusters)
-25th anniversary nc29 yoke protector
- 3k carbon fibre tank pad and fuel cap covers (Real carbon not look alike)
-HRC rear brake hose
-HRC expansion bottle to replace the genuine Honda bottle
-Genuine Honda luggage bolt for the tail unit
- Carbs have been stripped down and put in and ultra sonic bath to remove all rubbish, then rebuild using Honda seals from GF racing along with new idle jets
-Sp engineering stainless steel GP exhaust with removable baffle (Also comes with the massive stock can)
-Stainless steel Honda down pipe to replace the old rusty down pipe
- New pilot sports 2ct front and rear not yet scrubbed in (0 miles on these tyres)
- Powder coated wheels (Come with a spare black rear wheel also been powder coated)
- New wheel bearing and seals front and rear (New bearing and seal also on the sprocket holder)
- Japanese M-max de-restrictions unit (won't cut the power at 120mph)
- New front and rear sprocket and 520 D.I.D chain (Gold)
- Full re-spray in Mv Augusta f4 red and pearl white (Satin black light surround and air ducts)
- New mirrors
- Honda sock for front brake
-Rebuild rear master cylinder using Honda seals and stings
- Double bubble race screen in dark smoke
-Re-sprayed chain guard, rear hugger, front chain guard and front forks in metallic silver
-4x new indicators (Same as the original shape)
-K&N high flow air filter (Jetted to suit)
-Tyga performance red and black cover
-Tyga carbon fibre full cover front fender (Mounted off the pinch bolts)
-Tyga 3k carbon fibre clock surround
-Tyga 3k carbon fibre heal guard/plate
-90% of the nuts and bolts have been replaced by new a2 stainless steel ones to ensure they last
-Custom made reg/rec mount plate as the exhaust brake has been taken off
-Carb inlet rubbers x4
They is probably more but I can't remember off the top of my head, the bike is in show room conditions and there's not another one in the country that looks the same.
